Run #167, April 20th, 2003
First I'd like to thank Chin Chin Paraparagus for making this the easiest hash trash I've ever written. As you said, you "lowered the bar" with you last report. Of course these reports shouldn't be competitive, but after Bushy Rider's awesome rhyming Hash Trash(and your intoxication), I can hardly blame you for just throwing in the towel.
The weather wasn't good. It was either raining or about to rain all day. But it was warm enough to be comfortable, and the rain actually held off for most of the time we were on the trail. I'd brought a rain shell, but never had to put it on. The big worry was that the rain had washed away the trail marks, but that turned out to be no problem, either.
There were three virgins, Brad Smith who came with me(22 Balls Inside), Daisaku- san, who came with Alkanida, and Ito-san from Toyota. There was also one visiting hasher, Thunderballs Are Go, who came from the Tokyo Hash. As the crowd began to gather I was surprised at how many people were showing up on such a rainy day. Finally the last people, Bushy Rider, H eater, Chin Chin Paraparagus and Busta Seishi finally showed up late(leave it to the foreigners to be late!) and it was time get ready . I'll try to name all of the hashers who were there.
Besides the above mentioned, there was: Demon, Piggy Style, Shinkansen, Spooky, Kintama, Doraemon's Pocket, Hot Tuna, Bill and Kintaro. If I missed anyone, sorry. The marks were simple for this trail: the standard arrows, flour, Xs, Fs etc. Count said the course was flat and short, but had two long false trails. Fair enough. The checkpoints never usually have much to do with me because by the time I get to them, they're already solved. It seemed like my kind of trail!
So off we went. The highlights were a nice lake, and, well, I guess that was only highlight. And Count was right when he said it was short. I'd just looked at my watch and decided that I must be at about the half way point, but when I looked up again, the goal was in sight.
There were the usual downdowns for the usual transgressions – the hare, newcomers, bad weather, no hash t-shirt, sex on the trail, private party, long time no see, etc. There were also some unusual down downs, such as for using an umbrella, which, believe it or not, were drunk from opened umbrellas. There was also a tattoo down down for Brad and Kintaro which I'm sorry to say might become a standard down down until they have their tattoos removed. Which reminds of the funniest comment of the day. Busta Seishi mentioned she has a tattoo of a mouse and gestured near her private area. Of course we all asked to see it. She began to slowly expose herself below the belly button, and when she had the complete attention of the guys she said, "Oh no. It's gone. My pussy ate it!" Other down downs were for facial hair, a green shirt, and Spooky had to drink becuse there was a Shibata Station on the way to the the hash. The hare had to drink for being a rabbit on easter Sunday. I had the biggest down down because it was my last hash. I was given a full beer in that narrow bamboo vessel that's impossible to drink from without spilling, so I just gave up and poured the whole beer over my head.
The hash bash was attended by almost everyone, plus Fish Food, Cheap Liquor, Groper, and Sexy Babe no.1 joined us to make it even more fun.
Thanks everyone for a great hash, and especially for the great memories I have as a member of NH3. I'll never forget you. Please join me for a run in Oahu, Hawaii some day.

やっと近頃気候がよくなってきたというのに、この日はあいにくの雨、しかも集合時 間が近付くにつれて激しく降ってきた。集合時間の二時には土砂降りで、どうなるこ とか・・とおもいきや！遅れてくるHasher（ChinChin Paraparagus/BustaSeishi/Bushy Rider/H Eater)を待っている間に奇跡的にアメアガル。これもレリジのAlkanidaのお かげである。。彼は集合場所ちかくの静かな場所でひとり、雨があがる様hashの神に 祈りとビールを捧げていたという。だから集合場所でビールの缶を握りしめていたの だ。（けして自分が飲むためではない。）今日のヘアーはおひさしぶり！のCount。
東京からのビジターも加わり、天気のわりには２０人ちかくのHasherが尾張横須賀に 集合だ。町を抜け田んぼの中をしばらく走ると,チェックがある・・・がFの文字が無いぞ〜どういうことだ？ひさしぶりすぎてFを付けるのを忘れたのか？（どうも住民の方に消されたようです。）そのまま住宅地を抜け、桜が一週間前まではきれいだったであろう池のある緑豊かな公園や高架下を抜けて、さあまだまだ行くぞ〜と思ったところで前方にゴールが．．．Countだから長いだろうと構えていたせいか短く感じました。というかどこかで私が道間違えたのかいな？
さてDownDown、最初はもちろんヘアーCount。雨で道がぬれたのに誰も迷わなかったのは、マークの仕方がうまかったからでしょう。こじんまりとした良いrunだったと好評でした。今日は３人のニューカマー、長野からDaisakuくん、豊田からいとうさん、岡崎からブラッド氏が参加。 楽しんでいただけたのでしょうか。ロングタイム ノーシーではKintama,Count,Demon,HotTuna, Doraemon's Pocketの五人がエントリー、それぞれがそれぞれの言い訳を披露しました。２０日はイースターとのことでCountがうさぎDownDown、柴田駅を通ったのでSpooky（本名柴田）?lkanidaはグリーンシャツ DownDown（とくに意味なし。）伊那のきんたろう君と岡崎のブラッド氏が入れ墨DownDown、ひげのあるヒト胸毛のある人しりげのある人DownDown、すけべネームDownDown、あれせーこれせーとしきりたがるひとDownDown。傘をサークルでもっ ていた人は傘からholy beerをDownDown。きんたろう君は座っていた人／帽子かぶっていた人（帽子からDownDown）／プライベートパーティーなどの５DownDownをこなし、「これはイジメですか〜」とコメント。イジメじゃありません、愛の洗礼です。これをクリアしてこそ、りっぱなhasherになれるのです。悲しい事に２２Balls Insideが最後のHashとのことで、さよならDownDown。 ２２Balls Insideはハワイでさら にhasherとしてのキャリアーを積む予定です。その彼のありがたい置き土産として、車輪付きクーラーボックスをいただきました！これでビールを冷やしながらコースを走ることができます。しかも自筆のイラスト入りですよ。なごやhashのために、 ２２Balls Insideが奥さんにみつからないよう裏庭で徹夜で描いてくださったのかと思うと涙がでます！ありがとうございました！
ハッシュバッシュは尾張横須賀のファミリー料亭（とのれんに書いてあった）嵐山。
いつものようにがつがつ食べて飲んで〜ランに参加できなかったFish Food, Cheap Liquor, Groper, Sexy Babe no.1も加わって東海市の夜は更けていくのでした・・・
