Run #188, March 28th, 2004
Sunday, March 28, 630am; "What the hell am I doing getting up this early to run on my day off?" "OK just 5 more minutes and I will escape from this futon..........hmmm maybe 10minutes. Ok that's it! It's now or never!"
After finally getting into action for the day, I was looking forward to the prospect of a 2nd HASH experience. A quick 7eleven breaky (breakfast) on the road to meeting Chikubitch was just the thing to energise for a day out on the HASH.
THE PLAN: Meet Chickubitch 40min from home at Lost Cherry's work carpark, then catch the highway bus to Nagoya..... After several laps around Minowa? or there abouts it appeared that Lost Cherry's carpark had infact vanished! Or was it in the other direction? .......Oh how will I ever do this HASH without getting lost?

REPORT:
As a 2nd time hasher there were many unfamiliar faces amounst the ranks with old time hashers coming out of the woodwork. The gaijin were in full force leading the drinking songs and the bum flashing contigency which I am sure will leave a large propotion of the Nagoya population blinded for a good part of the next month.The gorgeous pink glow irradiating the course will definitely leave a lasting impression in my mind.
The pink glow of freshly blooming cherry blossoms that is! Stopping to enjoy a little hanami along the way we spotted the rare site of the Sentukus Toriatus (Sentukumono Tori) nesting in one of the Sakura. A profound insite into evolution, it appears that a rather excentric bird had decided to steal wire coat hangers and build a rather uncomfortable looking nest. Just hope it's kids don't have any 'hang ups' coming from such excentric parents.
It seems the general consensus that this was one of the shortest hashes in history and in my opinion the one of the longest "down down" sessions I have ever attended. Appropriately the drinking festivities were capped off with a Titanic Down Down, being one of the longest movies in history........."my heart ( the drinking) will go on and on........" Sexy managed to brave the raging river of pee and unlike Titanic avoided the emotional drowning scene, suffering only from a little hypothermia.
I couldn't complete the report with out mentioning the mad hatters, Smelly and Nick(Hash name??) insisting on wearing their hats during proceedings and the rather strange Slimey Limey savouring the after taste of Smelly Pussy's Hat Skull.
The highlight of the day was definitely the mystery of the long lost cherry. Lost Cherry and a few others wandered off course and found themselves across the river with a particulary excitable Dux Hound determined to steal her cherry. Apparently it was not lost at all and she escaped with it still intact.
Finally a big good bye to the hashers moving on to greener pasteurs. Captain Komon(a.k.a. Kintaro) off to England, Chin chin parapargus (a.k.a. Karen) heading home, and the very nice Japanese girl who's name I can't bloody remember! Appologies.

３月２８日 この日で３回目の参加となったお花見Hash。かしみさんに誘われて初めて参加したアニバーサリーではいろんな人に出逢えて、すべてに驚き楽しくて、こんな集まりがあるんだなあと、誘ってくれたかしみさんに感謝感謝でした。でも最初のDown Downでは帽子でBeerを飲む人がいたり、生でお尻をプリッと出す人がいたり、あまりにも刺激が強すぎて疲れているのに興奮して、夜なかなか眠れなかったのです。
今回もまだまだHashに慣れていない私は期待と不安？？？を胸に抱きながら長野からトコトコとやってきたのでした。
今回のStartは覚王山。春を感じる最高の天気。少し遅れて到着すると、皆は準備万端で、あれよあれよのうちに出発しました。
はやく桜が見たいなあとワクワクしながら歩いていくと桜並木道があり、ちらほらと桜が咲いていました。今年最初の桜を見ることができてとっても感動！！そこを歩いているだけで気分は最高でした。（コースをつくってくれた方々、ごくろう様でした。そしてNice Courseでした。）みんなで写真を撮ったり、話をしたり、犬と遊んだり、とても楽しく歩いているとあっという間にNear Beerでした。今回のCourseはちょっと短めだったけれど、私にはこの短めのCourseがちょうどよかったです。
そして、今回のDown Downはとにかく暖かくて良かったです。本当に春ですネ。そのせいかみんなもやはりはじけておりました。今回も生お尻プリッがありましたが、私も少しは慣れたのか最初ほど驚かなくなってきている自分がいました。・・・そんな自分がこわい・・・。なんちゃってバカプリオやら、川へ放尿やら、それでもまだ３回目の私には驚かされることがいっぱいありました。Hasherっていったい何者なの？？？でもすっごく楽しい時間で、笑って笑って笑い転げました。
ところで今回は金chan、カレン、かよさんの３人が新しい出発をされるということでちょっとお別れがありさみしかったけれど、必ずNH3で再会できることを信じ心より応援いたします。体に気をつけて頑張って下さい。
