Run #235, May 21st, 2006

Last Sunday, all true blue hashers - and first-timers Kaya and Waka - showed up wearing true red. The sun was as hot as the sexy red dresses, but hares Groper and Cheap Liquor were cool and made a shady course. The course branched soon after the start, leaving many hashers chasing F's. Suddenly train tickets appeared and runners were bound for Kanayama. The lucky ones, Piggy Style and Bamboo Shooter, were able to get ahead on an earlier train, where other passengers smiled to see the group of red dress-clad runners. Others weren't so lucky and had to wait for later trains. Cheap Liquor, wearing a grandma-style red dress with white buttons, struck fear in the hearts of women and children passengers. Arriving at Kanayama, runners looped back to the Atsuta shrine area, cheered on by friendly traffic controllers. The course wrapped up rather quickly. The sexy, hot and tired runners were happy to drink some good, cold beer. The runners were joined by a few latecomers, Flasher, Kiss, I�fve been Ekiben and Sea Cucumber, and made their way to Groper's apartment for the Hash Bash. Delicious salad, Thai food and other tasty treats accompanied the beer, wine and great group of Hashers.
